set default reminder to 1 hour.

Is there a function to achieve this. Otherwise I would recomment this
as a new feature for gcal events. The default reminder is 10 min
before and this is quite too late for me.

There's nothing to stop you changing the default - just go in to
Notifications for the required calendar(s), and you'll be able to
change things so that, for example, you get an email one day before,
another email an hour before, an SMS 15 minutes before and a popup 5
minutes before the event.
