In looking at the spec for RSS 2.0
http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/rss/rss.html#ltimagegtSubelementOfLtchannelgt

Under <image> sub-element of <channel> is says:

Maximum value for height is 400, default value is 31.
Maximum value for width is 144, default value is 88.

Does this mean that maximum image size that the AJAX slideshow can
display is 400x144 pixels? Or am I reading this the wrong way? I was
hoping to display pictures much larger -- 800 x 600 for example.

Oh, no. You can include a variety of sizes, including full-sized
images in your RSS. It's just that, generally speaking, if you're
going to provide a full-size image like that, you'll likely want to do
it in your content tag with some escaped html.

Can you show me an example of what you mean? I am completely new to
this...
Thanks.

Look at this feed:

http://feed.photobucket.com/images/travel/feed.rss

It contains a number of images with thumbnail references, but in the
entry descriptions, you'll find an img tag for the full-size image.
