How to verify a GLocal owner

Hi,

I'm developeing an app where I offer to local business center owners
the opportunity to complete their data. For that, I need to check the
person is really the one who created the GLocal entry. Do you plan to
add a feature in this sens: verify the owner of a GLocal "123
mystreet, my city, LA" is the google user "mybus...@gmail.com" ? Or
does something like this already exist?

There is no such functionality built into the API, but Google does
offer business owners the opportunity to do this here:
