I think you could make a lot of money with Google duel.
Each Google duel a permanent site, and make money through
advertisements.
This would make money if people bought things after visiting you site,
so you might start with products. Maybe "Coke" vs. "Pepsi" will not
lead to very many sales, but maybe "e-bay" vs. "Amazon" would.
Of course each site would have Google advertisements on it, and you
would make money through Google ad sense.
At first it might not be revolutionary, but pretty soon algorithms like
Google's will not only tell you what web pages are good, but what ides
or objects are better than other ideas or objects. And then in an
essence, you have created AI. Now don't think I'm weird, it's not a
real AI, but you could say that the Internet prefers one thing to
another.
I think where this will become really powerful, is you allow people to
submit reasons to agree with the idea that "Ford" is better than
"Chevy". Then the algorithm would have each of these contributing ideas
figuring out which one is better. For instance you could the title of a
Book that says that Ford is better run than Chevy. Or maybe this book
mentions that Ford is spending more in R&D than Chevy. Well maybe there
is a similar book that says that Chevy is better than ford. The Google
algorithm could tell which of these books are higher rated. I believe
input from people belong in there too, even if it might not be as
interesting from an algorithm stand point. For instance, users would
have to say weather or not the book actually supports the idea that
Ford is better than Chevy.
I have come up with about 20 ideas of things you could do with Google,
but I do not know how to program.
