Hi there,

I am in a similar situation to the person who made the original post: I registered for the 2021 California International Marathon in April but unfortunately sustained an injury this summer that made it impossible for me to adequately train for the race in time.  I have a full registration that I will be unable to use but am happy to transfer to anyone who would like to run the race but not pay the current registration fee of $275.  If anyone would like to purchase the registration from me, I'd be happy to sell it for $159 (the standard registration fee).  Please be aware that you will need to pay an additional $40 transfer fee (payable to the race, not to me) in order to complete your registration, and the full transfer should allow you to race under your name (not mine).

My wife registered for CIM back in 2019 and deferred until this year. We are not going to be able to make the trip down to Sacramento, and she is happy to sell (transfer) the registration to someone who would like to run. She's happy to sell for her registration fee ($145 in 2019). The transfer fee would be paid by the new runner directly to the race as well. Please message if you would like to purchase.
