Hello GGRC,
It is hard to believe that we are in our final months of 2021! I’ve had a wonderful year opening the club up again, and I am excited to prepare for 2022. With that, we are ready to figure out our fearless leaders for the 2022 GGRC Board to help guide us into another year!
1 – Call for Nominations
If you have great ideas for the club moving forward that you want to help enact, or feel like the club has given you so much and you want to pay it forward, then you should consider running for a position on the board. If this sounds like you - nominate yourself by sending an email with your prepared platform (100-250 words) for your desired position. This should convey to the club members why you want this position and would be great at it.
Submit no later than Sunday, 11/7 at ggrcpr...@gmail.com. Use this link to see who has already submitted their platform!
2 – Voting
Once we receive all the platforms, if there are any positions that have multiple candidates, we will hold club elections where paid members will vote (anonymously). Need to pay? Go here to pay your dues! A separate email will go out on Monday, 11/8 with all the candidate's platforms (plus a club survey so we can get your feedback on the year to pass along for next year's board).
Voting will run for 2 weeks (from 11/8 - 11/21), after which the final results will be announced!
3 – 2021 and 2022 Board transition meeting in mid-December
4 – Results and official transition of power on December 19 at the post-Christmas Relays after-party.
