📍 Where: The Southside homestretch of Kezar Stadium

📋 Format:

  • Introductions

  • Warm up + Movement drills

  • Workout

  • Cooldown (+ core/stretching)

NOTE: Coach Lena will be out of the country for 3 weeks, so Kristian will be subbing in as coach this week!

🏃 Workout:

For a fun workout for this week, we'll be doing our Strawberry 800s workout! (So named because we "borrowed" the workout from the Strawberry Canyon Track Club).

These are 800-Meter repeats in a relay format. Form a 3-person team (ideally running similar speeds) and run as follows:

  • Lap 1: Runner A starts

  • Lap 2: Runner A keeps running, Runner B joins

  • Lap 3: Runner A stops. Runner B keeps running, Runner C joins

  • Lap 4: Runner B stops, Runner C keeps running, Runner A Joins…

and so on. Only Runner A runs the first lap and only Runner C runs the final lap.


For each runner, 1 cycle is running 800 meters and then taking a short rest. Let’s shoot to do 4 cycles each, meaning running 3200 meters (4x 800m) in total, at around 10k pace. Don’t forget to cheer on your teammates as you run the workout together!

🔋 Post Workout:
Let’s go to Red Tail (545 Irving Street, between 6th and 7th Ave). Like the other places, they let you bring food as well. So join us for food and drinks too!
