Go 1.25 Release Status

Hello Gophers,

It's been a couple weeks since we've released Go 1.25 RC 1.

Thank you for trying out its new features and running your workloads with it.

Please keep testing it and reporting any issues that come up at go.dev/issue/new.

At this time in the Go 1.25 milestone, there are:

• a total of 236 open issues
• 6 issues with a “release-blocker” label. The Go 1.25.0 release is dependent on resolving these issues.

We plan to release the next pre-release version, Go 1.25 RC 2, around the beginning of July.

The final Go 1.25.0 release is scheduled for August (see go.dev/s/release#timeline).

• 1 issue with a "release-blocker" label. The Go 1.25 release is dependent on resolving these issues.

We plan to release the next pre-release version, Go 1.25 RC 3, around the start of August.

The final Go 1.25.0 release is scheduled for August (see go.dev/s/release#timeline).
