Go 1.26 release freeze has started

Hi Gophers,

We have now entered the freeze.

Every feature or optimization CL after this point needs to wait until the next release. Fix CLs are still OK. For more details, please take a few moments to (re-)read the go.dev/s/release page, especially its May / November week 4: Release freeze begins section. It contains guidance and answers to many questions about this point in the Go release cycle.

Note that the Go 1.26 Release Candidate 1 is scheduled for the second week of December (week of December 8th). Please focus your attention on resolving issues that block the RC 1 release to avoid delays.
