But It is a great need of hour to address these issues, or else our gardens & fields are getting contaminated with plastic, residue from burnt plastic, hazardous waste like batteries, tubelights, etc. The recent Sonsodo fire and ensuing environmental damage & health of locals........     Anyway, checked about tubelight, earlier Goa State Pollution Control Board used to collect (only through Panchayats and MMC, etc), but now they don’t. As there is no system in place to dismantle in a safe manner (basically mercury gas should be removed first, hence it should not be broken).
