Message to myself does not go to Inbox, Just Sent Messages

Hi all,

I commonly send myself an email with reminders to myself.

However, I believe starting recently, those emails are in the Sent
folder, but don't show up in my inbox.

Is this something new, is there some way to disable it, is it
happening to anyone else?

    This is the way Gmail has always worked - I am sure there are lots of different ways of working around it that various people have come up with though.

I have more than one email address. I just send it TO another
account, or I send it FROM another account. No issues, no problems.
That way they come right to my inbox.
