Composing from Contacts

With "new version" of contacts, where is the box to compose after
selecting recipients?
With "older version" of contacts, there's a compose box to click.

It's hard to find, but if you have multiple contacts selected you can
click the "Email" link in the far right pane of the contact manager.
Look at the screenshot I attached to see what I mean.
