How Prevent Gmail From Automatically Applying A Label To All Received and Sent Emails?

Gmail is automatically applying a particular Label to all my sent and received emails.
What is causing this and how can I stop it?

There's petty good chance that you created a Filter to attach the Label. Check your Filters.

You probably have a filter in place doing it.
