Anyone else having trouble with your Gmail loading on Safari? This
started happening about a week ago, on both my office and home
computers (Mac Pro and iMac). I just get a "loading" message but
nothing else. No problem on other browsers I have, including Firefox
and Camino. Do I need to reset my Safari browser?

yes - I have been having issues too. I'm new to Mac so I have no idea
what to do about it. I wasn't able to even open a message using
safari. I notice a 'beta' version of gmail pops up now which is
working better...

You may not get that for a while.  Safari is not a fully supported browser for Gmail I do believe.  The only ones that I know of that are fully supported are IE and Firefox.

Try Camino. My problems were similar to the ones you and others
described. One user in the forum said he/she had no problem with
Camino, a browser I had never heard of. I downloaded it (its free),
installed it, and have had no problems with Gmail and Camino getting
along. If the problems are indeed Safari-related, then switching to
another browser will solve your problem. I may be overlooking a detail
particular to your situation, but it may not be true after all, that
you NEED Gmail to work on Safari, but rather you need Gmail to
work...and your current browser (the one you "know and love," perhaps)
is Safari. Try Camino.

Tyler has helped. He's pointed out that Safari is not a
fully-supported browser. It does NOT mean you can't use it, but it
DOES mean that you are likely to encounter problems that aren't easily
solved.

The best help is to tell you to run Firefox. As far as I know, there
is no IE for MAC, so the only fully-supported browser for your use is
Firefox. Other browsers DO work, but they aren't fully supported so
you might encounter problems. Firefox is fully supported and used by
quite a few of the users in this group. It will greatly increase the
amount of support you're able to receive from both GMail and fellow
users like us.

Clear your cache, it worked for me. Atleast I can get the title of
Inbox (1) to show up now instead of Loading...
