I have a strange problem with googlemail.

In my inbox I have 62 mails
In Starred I have 0 mails
In Chats I have 0 mails
In Sent Mail I have 34 mails
In drafts I have 0 mails
In Spam I have 68 mails
In Bin I have 12 mails

However *in All Mail I have 2212 Mails*

- how do I get rid of the mail that is not in any other folder?

Many thanks

When you click "All mail", you are shown just that, all the mail that is in your account.  If you want to delete everything that isn't in any of the views, you can do a search for "-in:inbox -in:sent -label:label1 -label:label2... continue until you list all your labels" That should give you every conversation in your account that is shown only in All mail.

Also, this isn't really a problem.  You most likely clicked the archive button and forgot about the message.  When you click the archive button, the Inbox label is removed from the conversation, and if you don't have any other labels on it, All mail is the only view you will be able to see it in without searching for it.
