So why don't you call him and ask?  There is no directory of GMail users.

I'm sorry if it sounds like I have no heart, but I've been in the group for a long time, and not all the members speak perfect English (not that anything is wrong with that).  However, if I had a long lost sibling, GMail would not be the first place I would try to find them.  I'm pretty sure that doing a Google search for something along the lines of "locate lost sibling" would be a lot more helpful than blindly hoping that this sibling that may not have been spoken to for years has a GMail account.

Anyway, the way I interpreted the message was "I'm trying to see if my brother has a GMail account".  If that is not what the original poster had intended to ask, then my bad.

Carl..I forgot about zabasearch..its quite good if you are searching!!
thanks for reminding me and others of it.
also, I cant think why my last post in this string was entered so many
times, I only clicked send once!! a little buggy?? LOL thanks again.
and Nick..some people are so computer oriented that their first search
is for an email..they don't even call 411 on the phone to try for a
phone number. I work in the legal field and our investigator handles
tons of searches for lost loved ones and recently [5-7 year] when
asked what steps they have taken to locate the missing, they always
say email search first...don't know why really..its hard to locate an
email address on most systems due to extra security etc.
