hi,

does gmail have a function that allows users to save outgoing google
group postings, like this one, as a "draft" until the user is ready to
click on the "send" icon? like gmail, this function would keep the
unsent message on hold so that users are able to take some time to
reconsider their words.

sometimes, our outgoing emails land as hand grenades on recipients'
computers because we write them quickly in anger or frustration, and
don't take the time to allow our thoughts and words to simmer for a
bit. it's not fund when a recipient's take on our message is not what
we intended it to mean.

thankfully, gmail allows this function. why not gmail groups as well?
perhaps i'm missing something.

i apologize for this too-long message

thank you

You said GMail, but I think you mean Google Groups.

No, not that I know of, since the Group's interface is not a
personalized login, like an e-mail account is. However, once you've
registered for a group, like this one, you can post to the group
through e-mail, which I'm doing now, and use the draft functions of
GMail that way.
