import birthday-field from web.de

Hi everyone,

I thouhg it would be nice to have a birthday reminder within gmail/
google calendar. For that I'd need to fill out the birthday field of
every contact (I want to say hello on his/her birthday) and google
would have to implement this feature. But this is the future (I hope).

For now I would like to know if anyone of you guys knows a decent way
to import those birthdates I filled out for my web.de-contacts and get
them into my google contacts so that I am prepared when this birthday-
reminder-feature pops up out of google some day ;)

Your best bet is to export your contacts from web.de to a csv file and
the import them in to Google. Then set up a Plaxo.com account to sync
with Google and let Plaxo send you Birthday reminders.
