Role: IBM Apptio TBM Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

Required Resource Qualifications:

Hands-on IBM Apptio experience, with strong depth in Cost Transparency / Studio administration, model configuration, allocations, calculations, and data management.
Demonstrated experience supporting recurring production cycles in Apptio, including validation, reconciliation, defect resolution, and controlled change implementation.
Strong working knowledge of TBM concepts, the TBM Taxonomy, and service-based cost modeling across cost pools, towers, technical services, business services, and allocation layers.
Experience designing or enhancing technology cost allocation models, including driver selection, direct assignment versus allocation decisions, service hierarchy design, and financial reconciliation considerations.
Ability to work independently with senior Finance and Technology stakeholders, facilitate design discussions, and translate ambiguous requirements into supportable model changes.
Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to operate effectively in a control-oriented and governance-driven environment.
