Job Description :
As senior Java developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the client’s underlying cloud orchestration services. This enterprise-grade best of breed solution is mission critical to both the development and operations teams.
If you have applicable knowledge and experience in a software development role, please read our qualifications and apply immediately!
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience
- About 5 years working on Core Java projects with experience solving complex code fixes and bug fixes, preferably using MongoDB or comparable NoSQL databases.
- Strong integration testing experience, preferably using Junit or other comparable testing frameworks
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Agile practices and methodology
Position Responsibilities:
- Work as a software engineer and technical leader in a collaborative environment with passion, ownership and commitment.
- Continuously learn and grow with industry-leading practices, processes, and technologies
- Work with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud on Linux based systems
- Develop and maintain services in Groovy and Java
- Grow and contribute to a Service Oriented Architecture in an enterprise environment
- Learn and champion software development best practices such as Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration and Performance testing
- Work with various Java development and continuous integration frameworks such as JUnit, Jenkins, Git, Sonar, Maven, and Gatling / JMeter
