I left a chocolae rose on this guy's desk with a poem and short note
attatched for Valentine's Day, asking him out. When I saw him later,
he said he just saw me as a friend. It sucks, but as long as were
friends Im okay. And I'm really happy with what I did. It took a lot
of guts and then I got rejected. But it was a good lesson to learn,
and it could have been worse I guess.

Hi, Carra. It's always tough to take such a risk, but you did it.
Very brave. And even though it may not have gone as hoped, you won
just by doing it and not being crushed when it didn't go your way.
That is fantastic. You should be glad you know how he feels so you
can go out and find the right guy. A friend said, "Man's rejection is
God's protection." Whether one is religious or not, it's spot on to
how we are protected from the wrong things happening to us, even if we
think they are right.

I hope the right guy finds his way to you soon. Keep us posted.
