a quick, easy way to contact your senators on S. 193 "The USA Patriot
Act Sunset Extension Act of 2011."

An excerpt from the letter to send:

"I do not support any extension of the expiring PATRIOT provisions,
but if they are to be extended, those extensions must be strictly time-
limited and accompanied by meaningful reform. I urge you to fulfill
your role as a check and a balance against executive overreaching and
stem the tide of PATRIOT abuse by supporting the sensible oversight
and accountability measures in S. 193 and opposing any permanent
extension of the government's PATRIOT powers."

224-3121. (This is especially crucial if your senators are on the
Senate Judiciary Committee, see alert.)
