We will have a meeting this week!
Wednesday, Sep. 27 @ 3:30 pm in McDonough Rm 141
We'll be discussing the plan for CF this year, so bring some ideas for
the long term. On the possible plate right now are some plans for a
Catholic/Christian reading portion of the library, a dinner with the
Jesuits on Main Campus, and for regular volunteering events at Mary
House. If people are interested, we can organize rosary services, too.
There are several parishes that are heavily involved in the immigration
debates in DC, and we could do something with them as well.
In the short term, we're planning a volunteering event with the Jewish
Law Students (and possibly the Muslim Law Students) at the DC Central
Kitchen.
Also coming up soon is Sr. Dorinda Young's talks on Feminist Theology.
It seems really interesting, and she has generously offered to come
by and talk to us this week at the meeting. For those interested, she
is also having her regular Women's Circle this Wednesday at 12:45 in
Gewirtz 510. You can email her at you...@law.georgetown.edu
Hope to see everyone there! Let me know if you have any questions.

Wednesday in Gewirtz 510.
Addition:
Also, this coming Sunday, the Catholic Campus Ministry on Main Campus
(staff and student groups) will be hosting a Catholic Community Picnic
on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Copley Lawn. It's modeled
after a parish picnic and will include food, fellowship, and games
(with prizes!). We hope to bring together some of the many Catholic
groups on campus to enjoy each other's company that afternoon. If you
are free that Sunday, we would love to have you join us!
This is a reminder that we have a meeting today at 3:30pm in McD 141.
