A Windows security update from Microsoft released on August 13, 2019 introduced an issue that may cause the following to stop responding:
  • Applications that were made using Visual Basic 6 (VB6).
  • Macros that use Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
  • Scripts or apps that use Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript).
This has been observed to affect Serenji 2.x, displaying a messagebox reporting "Run-time error '5': Invalid procedure call or argument"

Microsoft have released a correction for some affected versions of Windows. However it is not classified as a security update, so you may need to take proactive steps to obtain and install it.

For Windows 10, consult the status page at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-information/ for the version you are on. Look for the known issue described above. Fixes are already available for some versions
