Hello Geospatial Artificial Intelligence Working Group,
Biplov and I are thrilled to share that group is back in action after a brief hiatus. A quick announcement during the hiatus we migrated the website link: Geo-AI Working Group Website. This has been updated on all the calendar invites as well. Feel free to bookmark the new page.
Also, we are really excited to kick off the lecture series again. So please join us on 4/30 am CT for a presentation from Ibrahim Yusuf a Senior Research Engineer at Technical Lead for the AI for social good team at InstaDeep based in Kigali.
Ibrahim is passionate about harnessing artificial intelligence to tackle real-world challenges and drive positive social impact in Africa and beyond. His is a leader in geospatial machine learning, computer vision, and computational biology. Also, Ibrahim leads the development of InstaGeo, a platform aimed at democratizing access to AI-driven insights derived from open-source satellite imagery. His work reflects a commitment to applying cutting-edge AI to create meaningful, real-world impact.
