Crazy Love Review

Get ready for Chapter 6 "When You're In Love" lead by Britt Martin this Sunday.  If you missed our review this past Sunday here is a quick recap of the author, Francis Chan's words.  If you were there, consider this your reminder of the cross!

 

Chapter 1 "Stop Praying"-Imagine yourself having a conversation with God (in the throne room).  Who are you speaking to?  What would come out of your mouth the first time you "saw" God?  What is your relationship/prayer life with God like?

 

Chapter 2 "You Might Not Finish This Chapter"-What if this was your last day on earth...and it is the first day you "see" God?  Life isn't about "you" but it's about GOD!  We have too high of a regard for life on earth.  Death is the destiny.  It takes effort to "hear" from God.  We are made FOR God (Ephesians).

 

Chapter 3 "Crazy Love"-Love has a way of making even the most difficult tasks feel simple and joyful.  God's love for us is far more powerful than the negative events in our lives.  I'm not asking if your devotion to God is complete (only Jesus did this perfectly).  I'm asking whether you believe that God is worthy of your complete devotion?

 

Chapter 4 "Profile of the Lukewarm"-If you think about the joy of heaven, you can't be lukewarm.  Is your love for God "crazy" enough for you to let go of everything for His sake?

 

Chapter 5 "Serving Leftovers to a Holy God"-Think Biblically.  What would God want me to do?  Not whatever is easiest and certainly not whatever is left.  How can you increase your love for God?
