Wednesday last, at the Old Church, the Rev. Mr. FEARON, to Miss BROCKLEBANK, daughter of Capt. BROCKLEBANK of Senhouse-street.

[According to FamilySearch, John FEARON and Isabella BROCKLEBANK married on 11 Aug 1779 at St. Nicholas, Whitehaven.]

 

Thursday se'ennight, at Oldham, Thomas HORTON, Esq. second son of the late Sir William HORTON, Bart. to the Hon. Miss STANLEY, eldest daughter of the late Lord Strange, and sister to the Earl of Derby.

[According to the Bishop's Transcripts, Thomas HORTON of Chadderton hall, Esquire, Batchellor, and the honourable Elizabeth Smith STANLEY of the same place, Spinster, married on 29 Jul 1779 at St. Mary, Oldham.]

 

DIED

 

A few days ago, at his house near Gray's Inn, Mr. John CLARK, some years since an eminent wine-cooper, nephew to Gen. WASHINGTON, of America. Mr. CLARK has left the bulk of his fortune (which is considerable) to his son George Washington CLARK, who is now a Captain in the service of the American States under his great uncle and godfather, General WASHINGTON.

 

A few days ago at York, upon the circuit, Helkiah BEDFORD, Esq. of Durham, Barrister at Law, and Fellow of St. John's College, Cambridge.

 

Last week, at Simmondsone, near Barnley, in Lancashire, aged 108, Susan EVESON.
