DEATHS.
On Sunday last, the 25th inst. in this City, Elizabeth, the wife of John CONNELL, Esq. banker, aged 29, deeply lamented and esteemed by all who knew her.
Since our last, Lydia SHIELDS, of Ritson's Lane, aged 48. Ann, wife of Mr. Joseph HINDE, of Caldewgate, aged 42. Ann JOHNSTON, of English-street, aged 29. John ROSS, of St. Cuthbert's Workhouse, aged 46. Mrs. Isabella SOWERBY, of Botchergate, aged 48.
On the 15th ult. after a long and lingering illness which he bore with Christian fortitude and resignation, Mr. Wm. HINDSON, of Melguards, stone-mason, aged 78, much respected.
At Penrith, on the 26th, Charlotte RATCLIFFE, Townhead. On the 28th, Mr. Joseph FAWCETT, sadler, aged 66. On the 29th, John, son of Thos. TUNSTAL, in the employ of HARGREAVES & Co. common carriers, aged 20.
At Longtown, Mary, widow of the late Mr. John STORY, aged 44.
At Maryport, on Friday last, Mary, infant daughter of Mr. SHERWIN, school-master, King-street. On Monday last, Mr. Geo. SMITH, mariner, advanced in years. Same day, Mrs. E. BELL, High-street, aged 85. On Tuesday last, Sarah, daughter of Mrs. CHATTERTON, High-street, aged 6 months.
At Workington, on Wednesday last, after a long illness, Frances, eldest daughter of the late William SWINBURNE, Esq.

At Workington, on the 19th inst. of the cholera morbus, Mr. W. R. HILEY, officer of H. M. Customs, lately transferred from Newcastle.
At Workington, after a few hours illness, of the cholera morbus, Jane, wife of Mr. Robert ELLISON. The 18th, at Winscales, Mrs. Isabella MITCHISON. The 23d. Mr. D. BROUGH, aged 32.

At Maxwelltown, on Friday last, Mr. James M'LAUCHLAN, aged 75.
At Annan, Agnes, wife of Mr. Thos. WILLIAMSON, merchant, in her 77th year.
At Middlebie Manse, Elizabeth, infant daughter of the Rev. Richard NIVISON.
At the Cove of Cork, Mrs. ORMSBY, relict of Arthur ORMSBY, Esq., of Rostemple, County of Limerick, sister to Lord Viscount Gort. This lady died of excessive grief, having buried three sons within the short time of eighteen months, all under the age of 35.
