Wednesday last, at the Cross Keys on the Quay, Mrs. SINGLETON, in an advanced age.

[According to the Copeland Registers Index, Agnes SINGLETON, aged 75, was buried on 06 May 1779 at Holy Trinity, Whitehaven.]

 

Friday last in Marlborough-street, after a long illness, Mrs. EILBECK many years an eminent inn-keeper in this town.

[According to the Parish Register Transcript, Elizabeth EILBECK, Widow, was buried on 09 May 1779 at St. Nicholas, Whitehaven.]

 

A few days ago, at Calder Bridge, Mrs. BOWMAN, wife of Mr. John BOWMAN.

[According to FamilySearch, Isabella BOWMAN, wife of John, aged 42, was buried on 05 May 1779 at St. Bridget Beckermet.]
