On Saturday last at Arlecdon, by the Rev. Mr. BAXTER, Mr. Philip BURNYEAT of Beckfoot, in Innerdale, to Miss DICKENSON, of Brownrigg, in Arlecdon.

[According to the Copeland Registers Index, Phillip BURNYEAT of Ennerdale and Esther DICKINSON of Brownrigg married on 21 Mar 1779 at Arlecdon.]

 

DIED

 

Yesterday morning in Lowther-street, after a short illness, greatly and deservedly regretted Mrs. DEANE, wife of Joseph DEANE, Esq. in the 73d year of her age.

[According to the Copeland Registers Index, Elizabeth DEAN, wife of Joseph, was buried on 24 Mar 1779 at St. Nicholas, Whitehaven.]

 

Last week at Wigton, Mr. Able DICKINSON, (in the prime of life) an eminent tradesman in that place, and greatly respected by his numerous acquaintances.

[According to the Quaker Register, Able DICKINSON died on 13 Mar 1779, and was buried on 15 Mar 1779 in Friends Burying-Ground at Wigton.]

 

Last week in Chapel-street, Mrs. HUMES, in an advanced age.

[According to the Parish Register Transcript, Elizabeth HUME, Widow, of Chapel Street, was buried on 18 Mar 1779 at St. Nicholas, Whitehaven.]
