A few days ago at Egremont, Mr. John PONSONBY, ironmonger, to Miss BARRASS of the same place.

[According to the Copeland Registers Index, John PONSONBY and Dorothy BARRASS married on 31 Jan 1779 at Egremont.]

 

DIED

 

On the 24th ult. at Raughton, in this county, in the 90th year of his age, Mr. Isaac PATTINSON: his loss is truly regretted by his family.

[According to the Parish Register Transcript, Isaac PATTINSON late of Raughton aged 89 was buried on 26 Jan 1779 at Dalston.]

 

The 11th of December at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Mr. Joseph GRAYSON, son of Mr. William GRAYSON of this town.
