At Manse of Aboyne, the Rev. Thomas GORDON, minister of Aboyne, in his 83d year.

Jan. 30, at his house at the College, in Durham, the Very Rev. Reynold Gideon BOUYER, LL. B. Archdeacon of Northumberland, Prebendary of Durham and Salisbury, Vicar of Northallerton, Official to the Dean and Chapter of Durham, and a Trustee of Lord CREWE's charities. Before this most respectable dignitary of the church came into that diocese, he was well known in Lincolnshire (where he held the livings of Willoughby and Theddlethorp) by the establishment and direction of a Society and Schools of Industry in a widely extended district, at a time when employment for the poor was much wanted, and when there existed little disposition to adopt new projects for their benefit. His labours in this department drew the attention of her late Majesty Queen Charlotte, and he was in consequence promoted to a Prebend at Salisbury. The Bishop of that See, the present venerable Bishop of Durham, soon discovered the valuable qualities of Mr. BOUYER, and advanced him to a Stall in the Cathedral of Durham in the year 1792. Since that period, Mr. BOUYER has successively held the vicarages of Eglingham and Northallerton, resigning the former upon his appointment to the latter. It may be truly said of this excellent man, that, wherever he has been, he has left behind him traces of an enlightened benevolence.

On the 1st inst. at Gosforth House, near Newcastle, after a few hours illness, of inflammation, Charles John BRANDLING, Esq. M. P. for Northumberland. He would have completed his 57th year on the 4th inst. having been born Feb. 4, 1769. Mr. BRANDLING succeeded his father as member for Newcastle, but afterwards retired from Parliament for some time, till he was elected for Northumberland. He was a steady patriot; and in a dangerous crisis, manfully came forward to organise his tenantry and neighbours as the Northumberland regiment of Volunteer Yeomanry Cavalry, of which he was Lieut.-col. commandant. He was greatly esteemed for his frankness, and hospitality; and his death is universally lamented in a wide circle.

On the 2nd instant, at Gopsall, the seat of the Earl HOWE, the Countess of Cardigan, in her 56th year.

Lately, after a long illness, Mr. FARRER, surgeon of the Third Royal Lancashire Militia, Preston.

In London, Major SERJEANTSON, of the 2nd West York Militia.

Last week, at Mansfield, Notts, Elizabeth GREEN, aged 107 years. She enjoyed the use of her faculties to the last, but received such a shock at the death of her son, who died in the same house four days preceding, at the age of 73, that the removal of his corpse was succeeded by the death of his mother.

Lately, at Whitfield, county of Waterford, Mary POWERS aged 112 years. She had been a widow 70 years; enjoyed perfect health till the day of her death, and usually assisted in milking her own cows.
