Sunday last, at St. Bees, the Rev. Edward GREENHOW, curate of Nun-Monkton, Yorkshire, to Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. Richard IRVIN, of Peck Mill, St. Bees. At Trinity Chapel, Whitehaven, on the 4th, Mr. John WILLIAMS, to Miss Mary Ann PATTERSON; Mr. Nicholas YOUNGHUSBAND, to Miss Isabella SOUTHWARD; on the 7th, Mr. Jonathan TEASDALE, to Miss Ruth HAWKINS; on the 8th, Mr. Robert MAWSON, to Miss Jane GORDON; Lately, at Annan, Mr. Joseph THOMPSON, painter, to Miss Sarah POTTS, dress-maker; both of Whitehaven.

 

At Workington, Mr. G. IRVIN, to Mrs. Isab. MORDY.

 

At Crosscannonby, on Saturday last, Captain James GORLEY, of the brig Alexander, of Maryport, to Margaret, eldest daughter of Mr. Geo. CARRUTHERS, carrier.

 

On Friday, at Liverpool, Mr. Hamilton COWTHART, mariner, late of Whitehaven, to Miss Margaret GREENLAW, of the same place.

 

At Annan, on Monday last, Mr. Joseph GRAHAM, of Scale, in the parish of Greystoke, to Miss Margaret BENSON, of Salkeld.

 

At Dornock, last week, by the Rev. Nicholas SLOAN, the Rev. John ARMSTRONG, Thirsk, Yorkshire, to Miss THOMPSON, only daughter of the late Mr. Richard THOMPSON, of Limekilns, near Annan.

 

At Carlaverock, on the 8th inst. Mr. Robt. NICHOLSON, manufacturer, Bankend, to Miss Mary ALSTON, Lockerbie.

 

At Edinburgh, on the 3rd inst. David DICKSON, Esq. younger of Hartree, advocate, to Jemima, daughter of the late Rev. David PYPER, minister of Pencaitland.

 

At Bolton-le-Sands, by the Rev. B. WALLER, A. M., Vicar of Burton-in-Kendal, Mr. Isaac GASKILL, bonesetter, to Miss TAYLOR, of Bolton aforesaid, sister to his late wife, who was interred about three weeks ago; he having in the short space of six months had three living and two dead wives. (This, if true, is illegal.)

 

At Kirk Braddan, Isle of Man, Mr. John PEARSON, to Miss Elizabeth BOWMAN. Mr. William KELLY, of Marown, to Miss Isabella CLAGUE, of Kirk Braddan. Mr. BURMAN, surgeon-apothecary, (late of Diss, Norfolk,) to Ann, eldest daughter of Mr. Edward CALLOW, of Douglas.
