Lately in the West Indies, Capt. RICHARDSON of the Equity belonging to this port.

 

Last week at Sursgill near Penrith, Andrew WHELPDALE, Esq. deputy clerk of the peace.

[According to the Parish Register Transcript, Andrew WHELPDALE, Esq. of Skirsgill, aged 43, was buried on 05 Aug 1778 at St. Andrew, Penrith.]

 

At Penrith, Mr. Thomas ABRAHAMS, formerly a merchant in this town.

[According to the Parish Register Transcript, Thomas ATKINSON (not ABRAHAMS) of Plumpton-head, widower, aged 90, was buried on 29 Jul 1778 at St. Andrew, Penrith.]
