Dear JewishGen friend,  

As 2025 comes to an end, we are relieved that a difficult year is closing and look forward to hopefully a better new year. We are grateful for your ongoing support of JewishGen, and I would like to take a moment to share some of our accomplishments and upcoming plans.  

Your support has enabled over 130,000 distinct users to make over 17 million searches on the JewishGen website during the past year. Our Ukraine Research Division uploads over 100,000 records each month. We have recently made available 

and our Romanian Division has uploaded over 12,000 records. The growth of our indices and collections increases the ability of our users to find their ancestors and connect with their heritage.

Among the records that we are making available is our project to translate Yizkor books from their original Hebrew or Yiddish. Over three hundred books have been fully translated, and many are in progress.
