Running GenMAPP in Windows virtualization software on non-Windows platforms

It is possible to run GenMAPP in Windows virtualization software on
non-Windows platforms. This has been tested mainly in Parallels and
Boot Camp on Intel-based Macs.
The only known problem is with running GenMAPP in Parallels, where the
Data Acquisition Tool (Downloader) is unable to connect to the GenMAPP
servers. The workaround for this is to download databases, MAPPs and
other accessory files direclty from our alternative download site
(http://root.genmapp.org/dtr/), using an internet browser.
