SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN SENIORS ENGAGE
IN VERBAL BATTLE OVER LEGALIZATION OF SAME SEX MARRIAGE
MODERATOR, DR. ABRAHAM NEMETH
The Park At Trowbridge, the Southfield senior residence, will host the
third in it's series, known as "The Great Debates," on Friday
August 26th, at 7:00PM.
The topic will address one of today's most controversial

CONGRESS LEGALIZE IT?"
Opposing the legalization of same sex marriage will be Mr. Michael
Hovey, Director of Catholic Social Teaching for the Arch Diocese of
Detroit.
Favoring the legalization of same sex marriage will be Mr. Mike
Neubecker, Great Lakes Regional Director of PFLAG (Parents, Families
and Friends of Lesbians and Gays).
Activities Director for the
Park At Trowbridge, Ms. Noemi Schaffa stated that the event is open to
the public and that everyone is welcome to attend and join in a
discussion with the speakers in a post-debate question and answer
period. She added, "We look forward to offering this series as a
meaningful way of connecting the senior community at Trowbridge with
the issues and events that impact the lives of everyone in the
community at large."
The Park At Trowbridge is located at 24111 Civic Center Drive,
Southfield, MI 48034 at the corner of Berg Road. For further
