The following is a Southern California (Orange County) event sponsored
by BA-MEN...

Sunday, March 26:  Spa Day: Get clean, relax, & socialize at Imperial
Spa (Fullerton)

*** An RSVP is REQUIRED to attend as part of the group! ***     (See
link below.)

Come join us for a nice time relaxing, getting clean, and socializing at
this traditional Korean spa.

You are welcome to stay as long as you like to enjoy all of the
amenities within the 6-hour window from the time you arrive.

The I-Spa entrance fee is $35 by cash or card. FULL body scrubs are $65
in addition to the entrance fee.

Guests will be fully disrobed in the gender segregated spa area.

For an introduction to Korean spas and more information read this document:

Keep in mind this is a true Korean spa, so don't be shocked if there are
boys in the men's area with their fathers. (Don't expect kids to be
playing around and shouting, as it's not allowed and they know it.)

That said, it should be obvious that this is not a gay bathhouse, so
"playing around" is not permitted and might get the cops called.

In the mixed gender areas, shorts & T-shirts that are provided are
required to be worn, but in the men's wet area, clothing is not allowed.

Basic spa etiquette is you enter and pay your fee(s), they give you a
locker key, and some spas give a limited number of towels, as well as
outfits (T & shorts) for the common areas, while others let you use as
many as needed.

Once you enter the men's area, typically you place your shoes in a shoe
locker matching your regular locker number, then proceed to the regular
locker, and put all your clothes in it, using the key to open & lock
your locker.

Next you shower fully (if you didn't just shower at home), and only then
may you use the facilities there, which depending on the spa, typically
have hot tub(s), sauna, and steam room(s), and some have more.

The lounge area is typically used with robe or T & shorts that they provide.

They have (Swedish/Asian) massage & body scrubs to the side of the wet
area, as do most of them, though many have only Asian (deep tissue type)
massage done by women in a common area.

They do have a restaurant & beverage area in the common area.

I hope you can join us!

If you do go, please find yours truly (you'll get a photo if you RSVP)
and let me know you're there, otherwise unless I've actually met you
before, I won't know who you are!

(FYI, we're there with other males that will come on their own, so don't
assume everyone there is with us... We can't offer a discount either,
sorry.)
