Fishing in most of the eastern Gulf really SUCKS!

Five months we wrote about the Red Tide problem in the Southern Gulf of
Mexico off Ft. Myers & Sarasota. Now the Red Tide has spread all the
way north to us, too.

Red Tide has killed EVERYTHING for up to 35 miles offshore.

Nothing alive in the water...zilch. Now killing dolphins and turtles
too. Everything from the surface to the bottom is in a total dead zone
according to dive reports.

Get within 2 miles of the beach and you smell the stench. St. George
Island in unbearable. Dead fish and seabirds washing up with every tide
change. The water is tinged red, the air is irritating to breathe.

Worst seen in over 35 yerars. May have to wait until another major
storm moves currents about the northern Gulf of Mexico.

Closest fishing is 200 miles East in the Atlantic. Never a problem
there with Red Tide due to the Gulf Stream's constant currents.
