I apologize for not corresponding lately as I have been busy
(work/eat/sleep and dealing with the Ex). I fish mostly freshwater,
using spinning and fly. I prefer to use spoons, floating minnows and
scented bait. My brother-in-law introduced me to the Senko worm and I'm
hooked. For fly I use a WF 7 Floater. I prefer wet flies (grey ghosts,
royal coachmans and deceivers) and some popping plugs or mosquito-type
flies. I love fly fishing, but you need plenty of room. I don't have a
car or boat, so I have to fish from the shore. The places where I
usually fish are busy with pedestrian traffic so fly casting is tricky.
Also, I find is somewhat difficult to find other folks here intersted
in a gathering.
I moderate my own fishing group, which is a Yahoo group:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/reelbears.
Reel bears exists more of a forum and yes, I have met other guys for
fishing excursions. Many of the members are closeted, but I care only
for their interest in sport fishing. Messages are moderated to weed out
spammers. I have posted photos of my travels around Boston and some
members have posted their photos (related to sport fishing). If anyone
has any questions, please feel free to correspond.
hugs
Pete
