Prior to joining WaveTec, he was President & CEO of Genyx Medical, Inc., which he founded in 1997. Tom led Genyx through two rounds of venture capital financing, among other things, and negotiated the sale of the company to C.R. Bard, completed March 2005. Prior to founding Genyx, Tom was with Micro Therapeutics, Inc. from 1994 though 1997 as its CFO. Prior to MTI, Tom served since 1985 as CFO in several other early stage device companies in Orange County, including Advanced Surgical Intervention and VLI Corporation. This seminar is targeted for ophthalmologists in the Orange County and Los Angeles areas to bring them information on the latest medical and surgical techniques as they apply to the various subspecialties of ophthalmology.
