went mt biking today and recorded my trail.
I launched the newest Gaia on iPhone and started a new track then paused it. Then when I started I went to the Apple watch and un paused it.
Recorded trail and watch app worked great. When done, paused tracking on on the Apple watch. Later went to the iPhone app. Went to trip computer, track/stats were all there. Finished track. Went to tracks section. Track was there, clicked on it. Every thing looked great. Track on map looked correct, all stats looked good. Went to the name and clicked on edit. Changed name. Before I hit done, I clicked on publish. Clicked done. Now all the stats changed and time looks like 1 minute. Trail was just a strait line.

So I just checked the track again.  Looks like everything is back. Not sure what happened.
This is very similar to what happens last time I lost a trail. Thought I did not click publish.

Hi Pete,

I’m sorry that you are still experiencing this issue. We also still see an issue with track recording - we’re prioritizing fixing this, and we hope to send 10.0.4 to Apple tomorrow.

Please feel free to email me directly at sup...@gaiagps.com with any additional questions.

Hey guys,

10.0.4 was just approved, so you should get it soon.

Please let us know if you still have any issues tracking - Anna and Jesse did some neat work, and my guess is Gaia is rock solid now.

I'm watching our crash logger now to see how the new release compares.

Regards,
Andrew

Yes, we think 10.0.4 is great, way more solid than any other version you might have :)

Please check it out and tell us if you see any issues. We also have an updated crash logger, which might do a better job of detecting the memory issues that led to the issue automatically, for the future.
