I just started playing with 10.0 and folders, a few observations:

1. I had some trouble figuring out that the "folders" section (down lower with the + symbol) when viewing a folder is actually adding SUB-folders.  Good idea, maybe relabel?

2. On the flip side, I figured out that the parent folder name was up higher next to the file cabinet symbol.  Perhaps you could use a different color instead of a label on the folder name so it sticks out a bit.

3. Related, I was a bit confused at first and started putting folders into folders as opposed to tracks into folders, perhaps label the auto-generated dated folders with a "auto-folder for 1/18/2015" or something to help with migration. Or even SKIP the auto generation and make a few sample folders instead, or nothing, for folks who don't want to mess with organizing at the moment.  If this is not a problem for the backend, it would save me work, as now I have dozens of folders to delete..

4. Folders with stuff inside need confirmation to deleted, but unfilled folders don't?  Is this on purpose?

5.  How about an undo?  I accidentally stuck a bunch of folder into another folder instead of tracks and had to paw around trying to find what I did.  This is lower priority.

6.  Super excited for folders, now I need to go back and label everything properly!  I assume there will be a folder option on the website in the future?

7.  Will 10.0 be offered before the beta time runs out, or if it does run out, will my folder-data be preserved?

Thanks!  Will.

I just noticed that if I put a visible waypoint into a folder that is not visible, the way point stays visible. I have to open up the folder and toggle visibility on and off for the waypoint to disappear

Folder refresh issues:  in addition to the previous issue, I put a NEW track into a folder with multiple tracks.  (One track was turned on out of 10?) The new track was immediately made invisible and I had to manually turn on the visibility.  New tracks should remain visible even if put into folders that have other tracks turned off.  Good Luck!
