Hello Folks,
We’ve got a new beta of Gaia GPS that we plan on sending to Apple later this week, barring any major bugs. 9.1.1 does not change much on the surface, but under the hood there are significant changes in the networking infrastructure. These changes should result in faster map downloads and improved syncing performance. We have also put a lot of effort into fixing bugs related to syncing.
There are also some bug fixes:
Map download screen sometimes showed incorrect file size
File sizes now properly localized
Maps synced from cloud always had a min zoom of 9
Fixed possible time zone issues when syncing
Fixed some accounts created by logging in with Facebook not being able to post photos.
Tapping on a waypoint cluster would sometimes zoom out to zoom 0, and show all gray, instead of zooming in
Added warning at launch when there is less than 50mb free
