remove Google imagery?

Hey folks,

Now that we have aerials available from a few sources, we are thinking about removing the Google source all together. What do you think about that? The reason we'd do this is because we often get requests to do all of our map functions on that source, and that would require a lot of work, which we aren't going to do.

We may consider grandfathering it out of the app too - leave it in for current userss, but deprecate it for people who've never seen it. We fear an outcry if we remove it, but we think people won't miss it if they never had it in the app (since there are other aerials).

Any comments would be appreciated!

Off with googles head.  Since you cannot download it, I would get rid of it.

I agree, they had a good run, but why pay when you don't have too
