Cycle path closure

Hi,
I live in Yorkville and cycle to work in Englewood Cliffs. Is there
any way of knowing when they close the cycle path?
In february they closed because of snow but they did not say this from
the Port Authority e-mail service I subscribe to as it regards only
the car path. It would be great to organize some alert system. The
other obstacles I can think of is the barbeque parties along the river
with lots of glass and the occational crazy guy harassing people on
the bridge. There was one this morning caring for some small dogs,
yelling like a madman on people passing him on bicycles. What else
have happened that one should think of crossing the bridge? I have
commuted only since February.

The SOUTH sidewalk operates according to the following schedule:

Monday, 6 AM until 11:59 PM
Tuesday, 6 AM until 11:59 PM
Wednesday, 6 AM until 11:59 PM
Thursday, 6 AM until 11:59 PM
Friday, 6 AM until 11:59 PM
Saturday, 6 AM until 11:59 PM
Sunday, 6 AM until 11:59 PM

Please note: The NORTH sidewalk is closed at all times.
I think they are pretty much done painting the bridge so the schedule
should be easier to follow now.
