I'm not sure if there is any existing discussion here on this topic,
but I would like to consolidate it:
There is a metal plate at the very bottom of the spiral onramp that I
fell on basically standing still early this spring. I consider myself
pretty nimble (non-clumsy?) and was totally caught off-guard. Still
have the redness on my knee and it basically ruined the rest of that
days ride (I lost a significant amount of blood through my tigts that
I only realised halfway through the ride in NJ). Does that plate have
to be there? I can't help but think it is some kind of prank.
I've seen many others fall on that -- it is just so pointless. I
would like to work to fix this situation.
Cheers,
Philip Romov
