I am planning to ride on through coming fall and winter and need a
"know how"s to prepare for cold weather commuting. Any info about
what to wear, any particular brand, will be great help for my first
cold weather commute. Thank you. And what all these ad are all about?

Its the hands and feets that you need to think about, good winter gloves and shoes big enough for thick socks. Long trousers with bracelets is good to have, I found a good pair by cannondale. When it snows they may close the bridge without notice. I use an old bike in good shape that I can lock near the GW Bus station without loosing sleep. There are definately less problems with barberque parties and glass in winter!:-)
Take care,
Niklas
