The Greenwich Village Orchestra is pleased to partner with Congregation Beth Simchat Torah for an evening of Grand Opera, this Sunday, February 11th at 7:30 PM. We are excited to present world renowned soprano, Krassimira Stoyanova from the Metropolitan Opera, Mezzo Soprano Fredrika Brillembourg, of the New York City Opera and Christian Sebek, a rising young Tenor.

The program will include the following:

Mozart - Overture to Le Nozze di Figaro

Verdi - Va Pensiero, sull'ali dorate (Nabucco)

Massenet - Il est doux, il est bon (Herodiade)

Saint-Saens - Mon Coeur s'ouvre a ta voix and duet (Samson et Dalila)

Saint-Saens - Baccanalia (Samson et Dalia)

Offenbach - Barcarolle (Les Contes d' Hoffman)

Halevy - Rachel, quand du Seigneur (La Juive)

Copland - The Promise of Living (The Tender Land)

Gershwin - It Ain't Necessarily So (Porgy and Bess)
