Bourntec is looking for Salesforce Tester to join one of our client team in Indianapolis, IN.

 

Role: Salesforce Tester

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Note: Visa copy is mandatory

 

Description:

Will be testing new Salesforce apps/workflow that they have converted over from legacy Lotus Notes Applications

This position is responsible for overall testing strategy, planning, and execution.

 

Challenges and Responsibilities:

·         Develop and maintain consistent testing standards

·         Conduct and or coordinate testing for custom and vendor software

·         Responsible for generating test plans, test scripts and documenting test results

·         Work closely with application developers and business analysts in performing comprehensive software testing, including quality assurance testing of databases, modules and documentation.

·         Perform and assist Business Analysts with technical and process analysis

·         Provide technical support to IS and other departments, as required

·         Create various types of reference documentation such as user, technical, and operations guides

·         Demonstrate understanding of the System Development Life Cycle and general project methodologies

·         Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills required in interviewing and conveying information between users and technical staff

 

Skills and Requirements:

·         Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills

·         Attention to detail

·         Strong analytical skills in regards to identifying potential points of application failures, thus ensuring accurate test results.

·         Extensive experience with various software applications, including internally-developed Client systems

·         Basic knowledge of accounting principles

·         Experience in budgeting and forecasting

·         Good understanding of Company business and industry

·         Ability to work with all groups of Company employees and consultants

·         Knowledge of Rational Requisite Pro is a plus.
